Recently one of my friends invited me along with two other ladies to play bridge at her home. We were playing cards in her den when suddenly I heard wind chimes. I inquired if she had chimes in her backyard. She said she did.

I asked, "Ladies, do you hear the chimes?" Everyone sat silently. No, they could not hear the chimes. All afternoon when the wind blew, I enjoyed the sound of the chimes. My friend said, "Lucy, you have the best ears. You really can hear."

I replied, "It’s not my ears, its my awesome hearing aids!'”
