In 1989, Dr. Susan Gore founded Coastal Hearing Centers after earning her Bachelor’s degree from Radford University and her Master’s degree from Bowling Green State University. In 2005, Dr. Gore returned to school to earn her Doctor of Audiology degree at Salus University with the help and support from her husband and two children.

In 1995, Susan’s husband, Dr. L. Brooks Gore, joined the practice. CHC has continued to further extend its presence with locations in Supply and Whiteville, NC, as well as Little River and North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Although she no longer sees patients, Susan maintains her audiology licenses in both North Carolina and South Carolina and remains a constant presence at Coastal Hearing Centers. Together with Brooks, Susan has thoughtfully selected providers and office staff to ensure that their patients continue to receive the exceptional client experience for which their practice is renowned.

Dr. Gore finds great fulfillment in working with adults who have hearing difficulties, aiding them in reconnecting with loved ones and friends through improved hearing.
