Sue Clampitt is a licensed audiologist with more than 35 years of experience in hearing care. She earned her Master of Science in audiology from Towson State University and her Bachelor of Arts in speech pathology/audiology from Loyola University. Her career spans a variety of settings, including the Department of Veterans Affairs; private practice; and ear, nose, and throat clinics.
Originally planning to become a teacher, Sue discovered speech pathology and found her calling after taking an audiology course. She loves working with people and seeing how improved hearing can make life easier for patients and their loved ones. Having personally experienced ringing in the ears for decades, she also has a special passion for tinnitus counseling.
At Coastal Hearing Centers, Sue likes the convenient location and the opportunity to work with a supportive team of fellow providers and administrative staff. Outside the office, you’ll find her playing golf, going to the beach, and spending time with her two adult children and two large dogs.
