Dr. Harkey earned her Bachelor of Science in communication sciences and disorders from Western Carolina University in 2021 and completed her Doctorate of Audiology at East Tennessee State University in 2025.

Her interest in audiology began with shadowing experiences during her undergraduate studies, where she developed an appreciation for both the diagnostic and rehabilitative sides of care. After experiencing persistent tinnitus herself, Dr. Harkey became especially passionate about supporting patients with similar challenges and providing compassionate, personalized treatment.

Dr. Harkey completed her externship with Coastal Hearing Centers and joined the team as a full-time audiologist. She values building strong relationships with her patients and strives to create a comfortable, supportive environment where individuals feel confident in their hearing journey. Outside of the office, she enjoys going to the movies, exploring coffee shops, and attending comic conventions.
