History
Coastal Hearing Centers was incorporated in May, 1989 and became an affiliate of Southeastern Regional Medical Center. CHC has since expanded to include locations in Whiteville and Sunset Beach, North Carolina. From the diagnosis and treatment of hearing disorders using the most advanced hearing technology available, to the diagnosis of balance disorders with state of the art equipment, Coastal Hearing Centers has become the hallmark for patient care excellence in Southeastern North Carolina.
The doctoral level audiologists at Coastal Hearing Centers take a very patient centered approach to patient care. We not only test objectively through diagnostics, but we also seek a subjective understanding of our patients' lifestyle. We inquire about the patients daily activities, special interests and learn their expectations and goals for healthy hearing and balance. If amplification is needed we determine the best option for them based on their answers to the above questions, the test results and their budgetary needs. It is our goal to ensure that each and every patient is a Patient for Life.
